SERVICES

SMART BUILDING NEAR STREAMS AND RIPARIAN AREAS IN THE BITTERROOT VALLEY:

The Bitter Root Water Forum Riparian Best Management Practices Group offers FREE local professional consultation for Bitterroot Valley landowners by ecologists, wildlife biologists, hydrologists, or engineers. This service is offered to owners of land on rivers and streams when they are considering building a permanent structure. The BRWF volunteer consultants will visit a site to help landowners decide where to build in order to be safe from floods, protect fish and wildlife habitat, enjoy the waterway while protecting water quality, and protect long-term property values.

To find out more about the program contact Laurie Riley, BRWF Executive Director, 406.375.2272, brwaterforum@bitterroot.net
